Alex Buznego oversees Digital Marketing strategy with the Miami Marlins and Marlins Park, where he explores how to use evolving technologies to deepen connections with fans. Further, in his role, Alex serves to identify ways to innovate business strategy. Alex is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics, and the University of Miami, where he received his M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance. Born and raised in Miami, Alex serves at a board level with Roots of Hope and Family Counseling Services and was a member of Class VII of The Miami Foundation’s Miami Fellows program. Alex is also the founder of #ipledge305, a Miami-focused giving campaign that leverages the power of social media. Alex was first connected to Roots of Hope in 2005 and has grown from conference attendee, to volunteer, to Director of Development, to a member of its Board of Trustees.
